Call
Compliance Senior Management Key Contributors at
FTC
Telemarketing Forum in Washington, DC.
Senior
executives from Call Compliance, Inc. (CCI), the industry pioneer

call-blocking system, participated as panelist experts at the Federal
Trade Commission Telemarketing Sales Rule (TSR) Forum, held in Washington,
DC on June 5-7. The three-day session, held under the auspices of
the Federal Trade Commission, focused on important issues, trends
and developments concerning telemarketing do-not-call legislation
and compliance. Mr. Joseph W. Sanscrainte, Call Compliance's General
Counsel and Director of Regulatory Affairs was a featured panelist
speaker and spearheaded a team of senior managers from the company,
invited by the FTC to contribute expertise.
The
FTC Forum, held at the Marriott Wardman Hotel in Washington, DC,
drew hundreds of attendees from every segment of the compliance
sector. Representatives from the FTC, state and other national bodies and
telemarketing executives gathered for a "hands on" series of discussions
which reviewed important industry issues. Panels addressed key topics
such as the creation of a National Do-Not-Call Registry, state-mandated
DNC compliance activities and legislation, DNC consumer registration
and use issues, the use of predictive dialers, Caller ID and other
telemarketing-related topics. Call Compliance also hosted a lively
cocktail party reception for conference attendees.
