A

(click on "Forum"). Comments, including those of the participants,
are available at the same site. Please check the website for the
most current version of the agenda.
The
Forum wil be held from 8:30 a.m., on June 5th, 6th, and 7th, at
the Federal Trade Commission, 600 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W., Washington,
DC 20580, in Room 432. Members of the public may view the Forum
in the same room, space permitting, and in one or more overflow
rooms. However, please note that these seats, numbering approximateely
150, will be available on a "first come, first served"
basis. The Commission may also have a very limited number of Web-based

s it takes place. At this time, wider-scale broadcast of the event
is not planned. Please check the Forum Website for updated information.
In any event, the entire Forum will be transcribed, and the transcript
will be available at the Forum website.
We
ask that cach organization designate one person to act as the primary
representative during the panel discussion. While you may alternate
your representatives at the table during the course of the Forum,
please let us know ahead of time if you plan to have more than one
representative participating. Du to security concerns, each representative
from your organization will need to provide the following information
to me at cdanielson@ftc.gov no later than May 23rd, 2002:
FULL NAME AND DATE OF BIRTH. Seating for other individuals, serving
as advisors, will be available in the audience, space permitting.
All individuals attending the forum will need to show proper identification,
sign-in, and be escorted to the meeting rooms by Commission staff.
If
you intend to provide any handouts at the Forum, you should arrange
for approximately 200 and 300 copies of each handout in order to
ensure that there is a sufficient quantity for all attendees.
Finally,
thee Commission's budget does not enable us to provide refreshments.
However, a participating organization would not be precluded from
providing coffee for Forum attendees. If you are interested in providing
coffee, please contact Vonni Eason at (202) 326-3439 (email: veason@ftc.gov)
so that the necessary arrangements can be made.
We
appreciate your interest in the Commission's Telemarketing Sales
Rule. We look forward to this opportunity for you and other interested
parties to share views and comment on the issues raised at the Forum.
