Patent granted to Call Compliance for Do-Not-Call Blocking system

Glen Cove, NY, November 30, 2001: Call Compliance, the foremost provider of compliance solutions has been granted a US Patent for Teleblock – an SS7 network based Do-Not-Call service, which blocks outbound calls to numbers on state mandated, proprietary and third party do-not-call lists. SIT tones are embedded in Teleblock’s “restricted number recording” for predictive dialers. Currently, Call Compliance does not charge for its Teleblock service.

With this pioneering service, companies are able to comply and adhere to do-not-call and do-not-fax rules effortlessly. Teleblock screens outgoing calls through the telephone carriers network connected to the company’s telephone lines or circuits. If a number appears on the do-not-call list, the call is blocked and a “restricted” number recording is played. Telemarketers administer their own database through Call Compliance’s web based interface.
