CCI
Launches Online "Do Not Promote" System for Telemarketers
Call
Compliance.com, Inc., Glen Cove, NY, announced the first suite
of software solutions that allow telemarketers to automatically
block phone and fax numbers of individuals and businesses on "do-not-call"
lists.
Teleblock,
the first product to be developed and marketed by CCI, is an automated
blocking service that enables telemarketing companies to have phone
calls blocked to all individuals and businesses listed on a telemarketer's
proprietary "do-not-call" list, CCI's in-house list and third-party
lists provided by states and other sources.
To
get the Teleblock service, companies sign-up with a long distance
carrier who has a connection agreement with CCI. Subscribing companies
then use on-line capabilities to select prospect lists. The system's
Internet capabilities allow satellite call centers to block do-not-promote
numbers.
For
consumers and other end-users, CCI has introduced Telestop, a subscription
service that allows individuals and businesses to add their telephone
numbers to CCI's "do-not-call" database of telephone, modem and
fax number. Individuals sign up at the company's Web site, or by
calling the CCI Hotline (888-674-6774), and are automatically included
in CCI's "do not call" list.
